BiographyKeng-Yu joined Hewlett-Packard Enterprise on 2016 Mar 1. Keng-Yu works in Operating Environments-Linux team in TDC (Taiwan Development Center) in Taipei of DCIG (Data Center Infrastructure Group). Keng-Yu was hired by Canonical Ltd. as a Kernel Engineer in the Hardware Enablement team from June, 2009 to February, 2016. Keng-Yu was responsible for the Ubuntu enablement for major PC OEMs (e.g Dell, Lenovo, HP, etc.). Keng-Yu also swapped to Hyperscale team to work on ARM/Atom-based servers for one year.
Besides the pay work, Keng-Yu is a Debian Maintainer since July, 2012. List of packages maintained by him.
Before Canonical, Keng-Yu worked in Foxconn International Holdings in a team responsible for the Dell's Android-based OPhone devices. Some photos are available here. In the undergraduate and graduate school, Keng-Yu was specially interested in the sub-fields of Artificial Intelligence such as Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Speech Recognition.
